Childcare and First Aid Training Courses in Cape Town

Our Comprehensive First Aid and Childcare Training Programme aims to educate and empower you and your nanny, domestic worker, au pair, child minder or babysitter. It gives you the knowledge to confidently care for your child, and arms you with the tools to respond quickly in emergency situations.

The Comprehensive First Aid and Childcare Training Programme consists of two primary modules. Click on the links below to read more about our various modules.

1. First Aid and CPR Module
Learn practical skills and be able to administer CPR on an adult, child or infant and attend to all aspects of first aid, for example, burns, bleeding, poison, drowning, choking and what to do in an emergency situation.

2. Childcare Module
* Issues such as crying, sleeping, bathing, holding, feeding etc.
* Child safety, including safety around the home, personal safety and emergency situations.
* The importance of hygiene in the home and on a personal level.
* A nutrition programme endorsed and recommended by a leading paediatric dietitian.
* Age appropriate stimulation and development
* Creating Positive Boundaries

Bookings are available at our various training centres such as the Cape Town Medi-Clinic and Intercare Medical Centre in Parklands. We also offer in-house training at daycares and playschools.

The cost for Group Sessions is R1350 and the Individual Training is R2260.
